About Us
St. Michael’s Hospice Charity is an independent organisation that was formed originally to assist with the provision of funds for the completion of the Archangel Michael Hospice which opened in June 2015. Now our focus is on the daily operational costs of the Archangel Michael Hospice (originally planned to be called St. Michael’s).
Our Core focus is to seek financial support from businesses and other bodies in addition to organising all manner of fund-raising events.
Now that the hospice is complete we continue to raise funds for the day to day running of the Hospice something which provides a much needed facility in Paphos and in the wider Cyprus in general.
The Charity
St. Michael’s Hospice Charity was originally formed in 2008 to provide funds for the completion of the building project. It now exists to raise money for the continued operation of the Hospice, which opened for the first time in June 2015; the running costs are estimated at approximately €300,000 per annum.
