📢 St. Michael’s Hospice Fundraising Golf Tournament

An early start for yours truly, and for the fourth year running, I was greeted by the beautiful morning sun. Trophies, banners, and lunch—checked and ready to go. Off to Minthis for our annual Golf Day!

Arriving at the club, I was welcomed by a group of enthusiastic players, all eager to collect their tee numbers and await the claxon to sound and get the show on the road. It was great to see so many familiar faces from previous years—including several joining me for the fourth time—alongside some new ones.
The teams then battled through what turned into a very hot morning. As teams, they aimed to have their names added to our Claret Jug. As individuals, they competed in three challenges:
• Longest Drive (Ladies & Gents), sponsored by Deans Building & Landscaping
• Nearest the Pin, sponsored by Paphos Relocation Services
• Nearest the Line, sponsored by The Second Wives Club SVGC
As I took some well-earned shade and waited for the teams to return, the competition once again proved to be close.
