The Hospice

Our Story

Founded in 2015, The Archangel Michael Hospice (now known as the Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice) is a purpose built hospice that offers a full range of support services for people diagnosed with a terminal illness. Backed by an expert team of professionals, they offer support and care for anyone who is affected by terminal illnesses such as Alzheimer’s (and other forms of dementia), heart, liver, kidney or lung disease, motor neurone disease, and advanced cancer.

In 2024 The Archangel Michael Hospice joined forces with PASYKAF (Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends) with the Island-wide, voluntary, non-profit, charitable organization taking over from February. This historic agreement for the hospice not only sees the Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice being re-named but the association with the church coming to an end.

Thanks to donations, fundraising efforts, campaigning, and volunteer work, the St Michael’s Hospice Charity are proud to be continuing their close association with the Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice so that the best possible palliative and End of Life care is provided to all persons with cancer experience and other terminal illnesses, by offering supportive and palliative care in both in-hospital and in their own home environment.

The Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice is located in the village of Mesa Chorio in Paphos, Cyprus and is built over three floors and, as well as the seven en-suite bedrooms, there is a lounge and cafeteria area, therapy and treatment rooms as well as reception and administration areas. Of the seven bedrooms, two are fitted out specifically to care for children and the young, the only facility in Cyprus to offer this accommodation.
