Why Participate?

This iconic marathon is not only one of Cyprus’ most celebrated sporting events, but it also plays a crucial role in supporting St. Michael’s Hospice Charity, a charity that provides funds for the Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice in Paphos.

Founded in 2015, The Archangel Michael Hospice (now known as the Archangel Michael Pasykaf Hospice) is a purpose built hospice that offers a full range of support services for people diagnosed with a terminal illness. By taking part, you are directly contributing to their mission of delivering high-quality palliative care and ensuring dignity, comfort, and support when they need it most.

How Your Fundraising Helps

Every penny raised goes towards ensuring that St. Michael’s Hospice can continue to offer their vital services, free of charge, to those in need. Your fundraising efforts will help:

• Provide expert care for patients in the hospice and at home.
• Fund essential medical equipment, therapies, and services.
• Support families with counseling and bereavement services.
• Ensure that no one facing a life-limiting illness has to endure their journey alone.

The Impact You Can Make

Running for St. Michael’s Hospice is not only a great way to challenge yourself physically, but it’s also an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of many. Every stride you take brings comfort and care to those who need it most. Plus, it’s a powerful way to raise awareness about the importance of palliative care in the community.

Benefits of Running/Walking for Charity

• Personal Satisfaction: Knowing that your efforts are helping others will make crossing the finish line even more rewarding.

• Incentives and Support: As a charity runner, you’ll receive personalized support from the St. Michael’s Hospice team, including fundraising tips, a dedicated race day cheer squad, and more!

• Community Impact: Be part of a larger movement that brings people together to support a vital cause and create lasting change in the community.

By registering today, you’ll not only be part of an unforgettable race but also a catalyst for positive change in the lives of those who rely on St. Michael’s Hospice Charity.

We look forward to seeing you at the starting line and celebrating your incredible efforts to make a difference!
